Presented here for member convenience are all the required squadron downloads.

TeamSpeak 3 Client The Warbirds main chat program with a dedicated server. Link takes you to TeamSpeak website.

FTP Commander - A handy program for internet file transfers. WB Members willl need an ftp program to access the WB FTP members only website which contains rank requirement missions and other interesting files. If you don't have an ftp program, you can download this one from www.internet-soft.com

Hyperlobby online game lobby. You will find most IL-2 pilots flying here. The lobby has a general chat window and a player to player chat otion. You can host and/or fly dedicated dogfight servers. You can host/fly cooperative rooms where the mission has been set by the map creator and the outcome is up to you and the other pilots flying it. There is also an ongoing campaign that is set in "Full Real" mode, i.e. you will need to know and understand the mission goals, fly as a team, and be able to read the gauge panel of the plane you are flying. Download Hyperlobby and sigh in with your choice of callsign. Look for the WB pilots and say howdy and give them a ~S~! This is a .Zip file of 849kbs

4.08m Patch. This is the Official IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 file to patch your game to 4.08m. We have made this patch available here for easy download. Once you install the DVD just download and run this patch. il2_1946_408m.exe 144.0Mb

4.09m Patch. This is the Official IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 to patch your game from 4.08m to 4.09m. We have made this patch available here for easy download. You need to install 4.08m patch (above) before installing this patch.

Many of our missions require that we have add-ons installed to our game. For this reason it is required that all members have the latest MOD package. The package that we have gone with is the Ultr@Pack setup. This is not to say that any of the other packages are of any less quality. For what we are looking for we believe this package to fit us best.
Ultr@Pack is a pretty easy install and has pretty well written instructions. However, as with most manuals, if you are not real familiar with IL-2 and it's components you may need help. Be aware that you must have a clean install of IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 patched to 4.08m and then to 4.09m before installing UP 2.0. Please feel free to ask a Warbird for help. There are forums at the Ultr@Pack website as well as many documents inside the UP 2.0 install if you get that far.
